Steroids for swelling in brain

On my latest visit to Chattanooga, I found out that the steroids have Chloey very swollen right now. She has been moving around a good bit as they are trying at small intervals to bring her out of sedation. She has rubbed her neck area raw from the trach collar she has. So now they are treating that. They won't know if the steroids have caused the swelling in her brain to go down or not, they won't know that until they do another MRI which probably won't be until sometime next week. I did take Sydney to see his mom and Evan. They are now staying at the Ronald McDonald House, right across the street from the hospital. They have meals provided, a very nice room, and 2 full sized beds...so Sydney could go and spend the night with them. He really misses being at home. Brittney tried to explain to him what they would be dealing with whenever they do get to take Chloey home and of course he doesn't quite understand, but he tries. He's such a smart boy!
