Oh wow! I have some catching up to do. I am so excited! Since my last update things have changed for the better. We still don't know if the steroids have reduced any swelling (officially) since they haven't done another MRI yet, what we do know is that Chloey seems to be coming back around. I haven't actually seen her yet, but Brittney and Evan both tell us that she is smiling at them, sitting up for a few minutes on her own, eating a little baby food by mouth (2 jars on Tuesday), they will soon be taking her trach out because she passed her swallowing test, and possibly her feeding tube if she continues to eat on her own. Also, she was moved to Scottish Rite in Atlanta on Tuesday. She will soon begin some physical and speech therapy. Most of this all happened in a matter of two days to a week. She is an AMAZING little girl and our GOD is an AMAZING GOD!! Please continue to lift her up in your prayers and I hope to soon be able to report that (she is chasing Sydney around to pull his hair :) Which he would love! He hasn't seen her in several days so he will be happy to see his sister doing better. He actually told me about a week or two ago "my sissy don't love me anymore?" I looked him straight in the face and said "Yes Sydney, your sister does love you very much, she's just very sick right now and can't play with you". He told me that Jesus was gonna make her better! He's exactly right, too. I can't wait to go and see her. I will update when I get more information. God Bless each and every one who reads this.
